5B RoFun Baja Buggy 29cc Black and White Monster Body 22 Ready To Run delivers big 1/5 scale gas power with a bold monster body finish. This Ready To Run buggy gives you long run time, strong torque, and a true Baja-style driving feel. As a result, it works great for dirt lots, open grass, and loose off-road terrain.

The 29cc air-cooled 2-stroke engine provides consistent pull and easy refueling. In addition, the buggy layout stays balanced at speed. Therefore, it feels stable under throttle, braking, and cornering.

Assembly and Operation – 5B RoFun Baja

Out of the box, this 5B RoFun Baja is ready to run once you install the wheels and charge the battery. For best results, charge for a minimum of 2 hours before the first drive.

Battery charging stays simple because the vehicle uses a built-in charging plug and includes a USB charger. No disassembly is required. After charging, let the battery cool for 30 minutes. Then unplug the charger within 30 minutes of the green full-charge light. Finally, store the battery fully charged to help extend battery life.

Minor crashes rarely cause serious damage. These cars are tough, so you can drive with confidence while you learn.

Fuel Mixing – 5B RoFun Baja

5B RoFun Baja uses a 25:1 gasoline-to-oil mix. That equals 151.4 ml of oil per gallon of gas. Use the included mixing jug for accuracy. First, fill the small oil compartment to the 25:1 line. Next, fill the gas compartment to the 25:1 line.

Use non-synthetic, mineral-based 2-cycle oil. This type of oil helps reduce carbon buildup. It also helps avoid spark plug fouling. You can use other quality oils as well.

Radio Setup and Trim Controls

This 6-channel radio mainly uses 2 channels on this vehicle. Trim adjustments sit under the rear cover.

• Top left: steering trim

• Top right: throttle and brake trim

• Bottom left: steering travel range

• Bottom right: throttle travel range

Set trims before the first full-speed run. Then recheck them after a short test drive.

Starting Instructions

1. Power on the radio and the vehicle. Confirm controls respond correctly.

2. Set the choke lever to the vertical closed position.

3. Press the primer bulb 3 to 4 times, or until fuel is visible.

4. Pull the starter slowly until it engages.

5. Pull quickly using short pulls. Do not pull the rope out fully.

6. Crank until the engine fires, usually 1 to 3 pulls.

7. Turn the choke off. Then pull 1 to 2 times to start the engine.

Never crank more than 3 times with the choke on.

Break-In Process – 5B RoFun Baja

0. First run: idle to 1/4 throttle for 5 minutes. Then cool the engine fully.

1. Second run: repeat for 10 minutes. Then cool the engine fully.

2. Third run: push slightly harder for 8 to 10 minutes. Then cool it again.

3. Next runs: complete about five runs total. Watch for blocked cooling airflow.

4. Final break-in: run full throttle and finish a full tank of fuel.

5. After break-in: check and snug the exhaust pipe mounting hardware.

Before each run, check bolts across the buggy. Use thread locker on clutch and brake bolts. Clean the bolt and hole first for best grip.

Many drivers want aluminum upgrades right away. However, plastic parts often survive impacts better. High-strength ABS can flex and recover, which helps prevent chain damage behind the impact zone.
