Assembly and Operation

Install the wheels, charge the vehicle battery for at least two hours, and install four AA batteries in the transmitter before operation. The included USB charger connects to the vehicle charging plug without battery removal. Allow the battery to cool for 30 minutes after charging and disconnect the charger within 30 minutes after the green full-charge indicator appears.

Mix gasoline and non-synthetic mineral-based two-cycle oil at a 25:1 ratio. Turn the transmitter on before powering the vehicle. The six-channel radio uses steering and throttle/brake controls for normal vehicle operation.

Starting Instructions

  1. Turn on the transmitter, then power on the vehicle and confirm steering and throttle response.
  2. Move the red choke lever to the vertical closed position.
  3. Press the carburetor primer bulb three or four times, or until fuel becomes visible.
  4. Pull the starter gently until it engages, then use short, quick pulls without extending the rope completely.
  5. After the engine fires, open the choke and pull one or two more times to start.

Break-In Process

Run the first cycle at idle to one-quarter throttle for about five minutes, then allow the engine to cool completely. Run the second cycle for about ten minutes at similar throttle and cool it again. During later cycles, gradually increase throttle while limiting each run to about eight to ten minutes. After approximately five heat cycles, the vehicle may be operated through a full tank at full throttle.

After break-in, tighten the exhaust pipe and inspect bolts throughout the vehicle. Clean clutch and brake assembly fasteners before applying threadlocker. Check fasteners before every run.

Failsafe protection: Always turn on the transmitter before the vehicle and turn off the vehicle before the transmitter. Leaving the receiver powered without a transmitter signal activates the braking failsafe and can overheat the throttle/brake servo.
