This Rovan 5B arrives Ready To Run. Install wheels, charge the onboard battery for a minimum of two hours, and you are ready. Charging is simple because the buggy includes a charging plug and USB charger. Allow a 30-minute cool-down after full charge before operating again. Remove the charger within 30 minutes of reaching full charge for best battery life. Storing fully charged is recommended.
Minor crashes generally do not cause major damage, thanks to smart design and impact-forgiving materials.
Fuel Mixing and Engine Care
Fuel ratio is 25:1 gasoline to oil. Fill the oil section of the mixing jug to the 25:1 line, then fill gasoline to the matching 25:1 level. Use high-quality mineral-based two-stroke oil to reduce carbon buildup and minimize spark plug fouling. Other reliable brands are acceptable.

Break-In Process for Maximum Performance for Rovan 5B
• First run: idle to 1/4 throttle for 5 minutes, cool completely
• Second run: repeat for 10 minutes, cool completely
• Third run: slightly harder driving 8 to 10 minutes, cool
• Continue several short controlled runs while monitoring heat
• After break-in, full-throttle tank runs are acceptable
• Recheck exhaust bolts after break-inBefore each use, inspect bolts and tighten as needed. Use thread-locker on clutch and brake assembly bolts after cleaning threads with alcohol.
Upgrade Guidance and Durability Notes
You may feel tempted to convert many components to aluminum, but hard aluminum parts can transfer damage and destroy surrounding components. The factory high-strength ABS plastic flexes, absorbs impact energy, and returns to shape, often protecting the buggy better than aluminum.
