Overview

The Rofun Black Body updates the look of your 1/5 scale buggy with a durable shell designed for the popular 5B platform layout. It fits most Rofun style 29cc to 36cc buggies, while some 45cc models may require minor trimming near the pull start.

Because of its consistent molding and structure, this body aligns better than many aftermarket shells. As a result, mounting is easier and produces a cleaner, more professional finish.

Clear Unpainted Bodies – Rofun Black Body

For unpainted clear bodies, always paint the inside using
Tamiya polycarbonate (PS) paint for proper adhesion and durability.

For a deeper finish, apply a light clear coat first, then add a
glitter, metalflake, or pearl additive while the paint is still wet. Afterward, back it with your preferred colors for a stronger final appearance.

We recommend practicing on scrap material before painting. Plexiglass scraps from local suppliers work well for testing.
